MAISITÄRKLIS

Maisi-tärklist saadakse maisist,
kartuli-tärklist saadakse kartulist.

Eesti kodudes kasutatakse sagedamini kartulitärklist.


Toiduaine-tööstuses kasutatakse palju maisitärklist.

Maisitärklist leiab ketšupist, kastmetest, kookidest ja mõnedest kummi-kommidest.


Mõlemad tärklised sobivad pehmetesse küpsetistesse, nagu keeksid, muffinid ja tordid.

Kui paned poole jahu koguse asemel tärklist, tuleb küpsetis pehmem ja püsib paremini koos.


Maisitärklist läheb koguseliselt vähem vaja.

Kartulitärklis sobib kõige paremini kisselli jaoks: kissell tuleb läbipaistev.


Maisitärklisega tehtud kissell on hägusem,
see ei paista läbi.

Maisitärklisega on hea teha kastmeid, pudinguid ja kreeme.


Kartulitärklist ei talu keetmist, sest kissell võib keetes muutuda vedelaks.
